On Nov 20, 2011, The University of Miami’s Beta Chapter inducted Nancy Muehllehner, Angela Colbert, and Sean Bignami (students of the Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science) along with seven students from University of Miami's main campus. Details

Coming Soon in 2012

Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in Richmond, Virginia is establishing a new AEL chapter in 2012. This will be chartered as the Alpha Phi Chapter of Alpha Epsilon Lambda, the 44th chapter. We look forward to welcoming AEL Charter Members at VCU soon!

AEL Medallion

AEL chapters and members can now order the new AEL medallion for $15 each. To order one please contact Nargis Abduvohidova at (ael at gradschools.org) Each AEL chapter faculty advisor was recently sent a sample medallion. The medallion is bronze color and the ribbons are scarlet and gray.

Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute

One of America top engineering schools, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York, now has an AEL chapter thanks to associate dean Mr. Dennis Gornic, dean of graduate education Dr. Stanley Dunn, and chapter presidents Alex Lamparski and Alexandra M.
